Nigeria’s Israel Adesanya to defend middleweight title against Brazil’s Paulo Costa at UFC 253

Nigeria’s Israel Adesanya has a date set for the defense of his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight title.

According to reports, Adesanya set to face Brazil’s Paulo Costa at UFC 253.

The fight between Adesanya and Costa will take place on Saturday, September 19th.

Adesanya and Costa have been having war of words with several confrontations which makes this a highly anticipated clash.

Adesanya beat Robert Whittaker to become the UFC middleweight champion and then defended his title against Yoel Romero.

Costa has been scheduled to fight Adesanya for a while but needed a biceps surgery but all is now set for a super fight between them in the octagon with only the venue yet to be decided.
