Harry Kane’s at the double as Tottenham dent Leicester City’s Champions League hopes (video)
Tottenham Hotspur beat Leicester City 3-0 in a Premier League encounter played on Sunday, July 18th.
The Spurs continued their good form after victory over Arsenal in the North London Derby last week.
Jose Mourinho’s team are in the hunt to secure Europa League football against Leicester City with Champions League aspirations.
All three goals were scored in the first half, an own goal by James Justin in the sixth minute opened the scoring.
Harry Kane was assisted twice by Lucas Moura in the 37th and 40th minute to give Tottenham a three-goal cushion at the halftime break.
No goals were scored in the second half as Tottenham held on for all three points.
Leicester City on the other hand suffered a huge defeat in their quest for Champions League football level on points with Manchester United who have a game in hand.
Leicester City take on Manchester United at the King Power Stadium in their final game which could be the Champions League decider.
