Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has given all Delta State indigenes among the Nigerian contingent who recently returned from Lebanon a cheque of 100,000 each.
The Honourable Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Abike Dabiri-Erewa who oversaw the evacuation of the contingent from Lebanon made this announcement via her verified twitter handle a few minutes ago!

She said;

She had earlier reported that only one of the ladies was given the sum 100,000 but she further confirmed that all the Delta State indigenes were presented with the cheque and they were all encouraged to start up a business and also learn a skill.
About 92 Nigerians including the ladies whose video for help went viral arrived Nigeria yesterday and they were received by the Honourable Minister of Diaspora Affairs.
