Adedayo Omolafe, the lawmaker representing Akure South and North has died.
The lawmaker, who according to reports spent some time with members of his constituents on Sunday, died at the Federal Medical Center, Owo in the early hours of Monday.
He was said to have lost consciousness on Sunday night and was rushed to the medical facility before he died.
Until his death, he served as the Local Government Chairman of Akure South.
Mr, Adedayo Omolafe was elected as a federal lawmaker in 2019 to represent Akure South and North on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
