Super Eagles forward Anthony Nwakaeme was on target for Trabzonspor as they beat Rizespor 5-2 in a Turkey Super Lig encounter played on Saturday, February 29th.
Trabzonspor went to the halftime break a goal behind through a Dario Melnjak strike in the 36th minute. Nwakaeme was introduced to start the second half for Guilherme.
Manuel da Costa equalized for Trabzonspor in the 65th minute, they went ahead through Caleb Ekuban in the 71st minute and the third from a Jose Sosa penalty.
Nwakaeme scored the fourth in the 86th minute with an assist by Alexander Sorloth. Rizespor pulled one back from a penalty by Milan Skoda in the 86th minute before Badou Ndiaye from an assist by Nwakaeme in the 92nd minute. Former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi received two yellow cards and was sent off. It was Nwakaeme’s ninth goal of the season as Trabzonspor go top of the league
