Arsenal sign Nigerian-born midfielder Tim Akinola

Arsenal have signed Nigerian midfielder Tim Akinola after financial problems forced him to quit Huddersfield Town this summer.
The 19-year old midfielder joined the Terriers on a one-year contract last season after a successful trial and the club had an option on a further year extension.
His contract comes to an end but the Championship club have not triggered his extension clause.
Akinola started his career with Lincoln City after an impressive display that helped his side reach the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
After coming to Huddersfield Town, he made six appearances for Dean Whitehead’s U-19 side, scoring against Larne FC.
