- Joseph Ilicic has emerged as the Champions League Player of the Week. Ilicic emerged winner after scoring all four goals for Atalanta in their 4-3 second-leg win against Valencia.
Other nominees were Marcel Sabitzer who scored two goals for RB Leipzig in their 3-0 against Tottenham Hotspur. Juan Bernat who scored one goal in Paris Saint Germain’s 2-0 win against Borussia Dortmund and Jan Oblak who made 11 saves for Atletico Madrid in their 3-2 win against Liverpool.
Samuele Campo has emerged as the Europa League Player of the Week. Campo scored one goal and contributed one assist as Basel beat Frankfurt 3-0. Other nominees were Odion Ighalo who scored one goal for Manchester United in their 5-0 against LASK, Charles Aránguiz who scored one goal for Bayern Leverkusen in their 3-1 win against Rangers and Marcos Antônio wh scored one goal for Shakhtar Donetsk in their 2-1 win against Wolfsburg
