Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller is set to miss the FIFA Club World Cup final.

UEFA Champions League winners Bayern Munich will face Concacaf Champions League winners Tigres UANL in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup final on Thursday, February 11th

Thomas Müller will not be available after he tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus.

This was confirmed by a statement on the official website of Bayern Munich.

The statement said, “Thomas Müller, 31, player of FC Bayern Munich, won the FIFA Club World Cuptested positive for the coronavirus in Doha and immediately isolated. After returning to Munich, he will immediately go into quarantine. FC Bayern coordinated with the responsible authorities.

“The entire FC Bayern team was tested again on Thursday. There were no further positive results.”
