Chelsea are the verge of signing RB Leipzig’s striker: Timo Werner according to multiple sources in England and SkySports Italy reporter: Fabrizio Romano.

Reports has it that Chelsea are willing to match the 49 million pounds release clause of the striker and have offered him a contract worth 200,000 pounds a week.

Timo Werner has been linked to Liverpool since for the past few months but sources say Liverpool are unwilling to pay his release clause.

The German International has scored 25 goals and 7 assists this season and he joins Hakim Ziyech who joined Chelsea from Ajax Amsterdam for 33 million pounds.
