The Super Eagles of Nigeria did it the hard way beating the Harambee Stars 3-2 in a 2010 FIFA World Cup played on November 14, 2009.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria needed all three points to get a ticket to the World Cup in South Africa.
Dennis Oliech gave Kenya the lead in the 16th minute which they took to the halftime break.
Obafemi Martins equalized for Nigeria in the 62nd minute before Yakubu Ayegbeni put Nigeria ahead in the 65th minute.
Allan Wanga put fear into the hearts of Nigerians equalizing for Kenya in the 79th minute.
Obafemi Martins would score the winner in the 83rd minute which was a fantastic performance as a substitute.
