Reports reaching us is that Coronavirus cases in Nigeria is now 51 as at 11:25pm, 25th March 2020.
According to the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), six new cases were confirmed in the country with Lagos and Abuja adding to their existing numbers while Rivers and Osun records their first cases.
The National Center for Disease Control tweeted thus:
On the 25th of March, 2020, six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria.
“Of the new six cases reported on March 25, two are in Lagos State, one is in Osun State, one in Rivers State, and two are in the Federal Capital Territory.”
All the new cases have mild to moderate symptoms and are currently receiving care.

“Three are returning travellers into Nigeria and two are close contacts of a confirmed case. As of 11:25 pm on 25th of March, there are 51 confirmed cases – two discharged and one one death.”
