Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 Pandemic around the world, one of the most popular commodities is the face mask.
Governments and health authorities around the world advised the use of face mask as one of the ways of preventing oneself from the he infection as well as reducing the spread of COVID-19
Most face masks are made with soft clothing materials or nonwoven fabric but a rich Indian Businessman from the city of Pune: Shankar Kurhade has decided to take it a step further by using a golden mask.
According to him:
“It is a thin mask and has tiny pores that is helping me to breathe,” AFP quoted Shankar.
“I am not sure if it will be effective to protect me from a coronavirus infection but I am taking other precautions,”
Shankar is fond of wearing gold accessories and his latest of a gold task mask has made him more popular in his neighbourhood as people often stop him to have a selfie.
People are asking me for selfies,”
“They are awestruck when they see me wearing the gold mask in markets.”
