Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers claimed Rangers’ top goalscorer of the year award in a ceremony on Sunday evening.
Cyriel Dessers received the Sam English Bowl prize with 24 goals in over 50 appearances for Glasgow Rangers this season across four competitions.
Unfortunately, Rangers had a disappointing season. They crashed out of the Scottish Cup in the early rounds, lost to Celtic in the League Cup final, and lost to Athletic Bilbao in the quarterfinals of the Europa League.
When asked if he would leave Rangers in the summer, the 30-year-old striker says he is committed to the club and wants to win trophies.

“I’m very keen. I came here two summers ago with the ambition to fight for trophies, to win trophies.
“I’m sitting here, we had two amazing runs in Europe, but we only won a trophy, and I don’t think that’s enough.
“I’m really hungry to win more trophies, more silver at this club. So, I’m very keen on it. But obviously, like I say, there’s going to be a lot happening, but I’m looking forward to that as well.”
Dessers will look to add to his tally with four games left before the season ends.
