D’Tigers like the first match against Libya struggled in the first two quarters as they fell to a 16-12 and 18-16 loss.
The team however reduced their turnovers by six unlike the first match where they turned away possession 18 times.
D’Tigers made the most of their three-point shooting in the third quarter as they closed the gap on the Ugandans.
The fourth quarter made the differenceon the night as D’Tigers outscored Uganda 32-8.
D’Tigers wrapped up the match with a 87-67 win as they stay within the reach of qualifying for Afrobasket 2025 with a 2-3 series score.
A win over Cape Verde on Sunday will more or less put the D’Tigers in prime position of qualifying for the tournament.
