Champions of Nigeria Professional Football League, Enyimba Football Club have signed a multi-million dollar shirt deal with popular betting platform, Stake ahead of the new football season.
The Nigerian champions shared the news of the new partnership on its official Twitter page on Wednesday: “Enyimba Football Club is delighted to announce a multi-year shirt sponsorship deal with @stake, beginning this season.”

The partnership with Stake comes weeks after veteran Super Eagles striker Kanu Nwankwo assumed office as the new chairman of the club.
Enyimba will have Stake in front of their jerseys this season as they look to defend their league title which they have won a record nine time.
The People’s Elephant will also compete in the CAF Champions League qualification round where they will take on Al Ahli Benghazi of Libya for a place in the group stage of the competition.
Enyimba is currently coached by former Super Eagles winger, Finidi George.
