Everton legend Baines announces retirement (video)
Everton Legend Leighton Baines has announced his retirement from football.
Baines announced his retirement after making his 420th appearances for Everton in their 3-1 home loss to Bournemouth on Sunday., July 26th.
Baines played professional football for 18-years and joined Everton from Wigan Athletic in 2007.
He made 348 Premier League games for Everton, 30 games for England.
At the age of 35, he scored a total of 39 goals for Everton and made 25 appearances in European competition for the club.
