Everton To Sell Alex Iwobi On One Condition!

Premier League side, Everton have told potential suitors that only a suitable offer will make the club consider selling Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi this summer.

According to reports, Everton have offered the midfielder an improved four-year contract ahead of the new football season but the former Arsenal playmaker is yet to put pen to paper.

Alex Iwobi was instrumental to Everton’s 2022/2023 Premier League campaign as the Toffees fought hard to survive relegation. Sean Dyche’s side confirmed their Premier League status for the upcoming season after a 1 nil home win over Bournemouth.

Iwobi scored 2 goals and provided 7 assists last season. His exceptional performance for the team earned him Everton’s Player of the Year Award.

The 27-year-old has a year left on his contract and it remains unclear whether or not the former Arsenal midfielder will continue with the Merseyside with about seven weeks to the closure of the transfer window.

Alex Iwobi has registered 9 goas and 16 assists in 138 appearances for the club since he arrived from North London for £28 + 7 million in 2019.
