The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will play Gambia in the semi-final of the 2023 U-20 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) on March 6 at the Cairo International Stadium.
The match-up was confirmed after Gambia thrashed South Sudan 5-0 on Friday March 3 at the Harras El-Hedoud Stadium.
A hattrick from Adama Bojang and strikes from Moses Jarju and Mohammed Bajo gave Gambia the victory.
With the victory Gambia have qualified for the 2023 U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
The Flying Eagles defeated Uganda 1-0 in their quarter-final match on Thursday March 2 at the Suez Canal Stadium.
The U-20 World Cup will take place between May 20 and June 11.
