Fast-rising Afropop musician.Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus otherwise popularly known as Joe Boy has announced free rides for Lagos residents within major metropolis across the state. Joe Boy took to his Twitter page to announce this development on Monday.
According to his tweet, the free ride exercise will take place for only three days starting from 13th June 2023 for commuters that ply the Oshodi-Obalende, Unilag Gate-Yaba-Ikeja, and Iyana Oworo – Lekki/Jakande routes. He added that the bus shuttle will be available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The musician had earlier put out a tweet regarding how people now spend a larger chunk of their salaries due to the hike in fuel prices.
Joeboy is currently promoting his second studio album: “Body and Soul.” The 14-track album features artists like BNXN, American veteran rapper Ludacris, OdumoduBlvck among others.
