How Chelsea can take advantage of Leicester City’s loss to reduce gap on the log

Chelsea face a tricky tie away to Bournemouth today at the Vitality Stadium as the Blues look to put behind their embarrassing 0-3 Champions League home loss to Bayern Munich and also reduce the gap between them and Leicester City to three points.

Frank Lampard’s side need to avoid conceding first as they only came back from behind to win a Premier League game only once in 27 games this season.

The Blues need to win and the Cherries’ defense might help them do so as they have one  of the worst defensive records in the league with 43 goals conceded this season already.

Although Chelsea are winless against Eddie Howe’s team into games, the Blues have to give their all bearing in mind that they will be just three points behind Leicester City lost to Norwich yesterday.

Olivier Giroud and Marcos Alonso had a good game against Tottenham last weekend and Frank Lampard need to start these duo; Olivier Giroud for his aerial technical abilities in taking set pieces too will be needed if Chelsea will secure all three points.
