Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has quelled the rumours on whether he will be available for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The participation of the Napoli striker who just returned from a facial injury at the tournament has been under doubt for the past few days considering he is yet to feature for the Italian side since he returned.
However, Osimhen in a tweet he posted on his page has revealed he will be available for the competition except if he is not selected by coach Austin Eguavoen.
“I will be available for AFCON💯unless if am not among the players picked to represent NIGERIA.”
The 22-year-old striker scored 5 goals in 5 matches en route to Super Eagles qualification for the competition.
The competition is scheduled to begin on the 9th of January, 2022 across five cities in Cameroon.
