Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has revealed why he always goes on his knees and point to the sky each time he scores either for Leicester City or the Super Eagles.
Kelechi Iheanaacho said he does so because there is a God in heaven and it is also a tribute to his late mum who he believes watches him each time he scores, the Nigerian striker told Live Leicester City
“The reason I point to heaven is that I think there is a God in heaven and also it’s for my mum, I know she’s watching when I score.”
“So I want to show my appreciation for God and my late mum.”
Kelechi Iheanacho continued his brilliant goalscoring form as he bagged a brace and provided an assist in Leicester City’s 3-1 win over Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
