Eliana Guercio, wife of Manchester United’s goalkeeper, Sergio Romero has slammed Manchester United for his husband lack of playing time at the club.
She pointed out the fact that her husband played an huge role in Manchester United’s three semi-finals appearances last season but wasn’t given the opportunity to feature in those semi-finals as he was left on the bench.
Sergio Romero’s wife called on the club to respect her husband and let him go if they don’t need his services anymore.

Sergio Romero who is Argentina’s number one choice is yet to feature for Manchester United this season. The last time he was in between the sticks was Manchester United’s 1-0 victory over Copenhagen in last season’s Europa League Quarter-Finals.
The 33-year-old, since his arrival at the club in the 2015/2016 has kept 39 clean sheets in 61 appearances for Manchester United.
The arrival of Dean Henderson who has been on loan at Sheffield United for the past two seasons has seen the Argentine goalkeeper drop to third choice.
Sergio Romero’s contract expires next summer.
