Manchester United interim boss identifies six players likely to be sold

Ralf Rangnick, Manchester United’s interim manager, is said to have chosen six players that he believes should be released by the club.

Rangnick will only be in charge for the next six months before joining the team as a consultant next season.

The 63-year-old, on the other hand, is trying to stamp his dominance on the team by releasing players and potentially bringing in a couple of new faces.

According to The Mirror, Manchester United have handed the German a £100 million transfer budget for the January transfer window, although some players may go to make room for new arrivals.

According to the source, Edinson Cavani, who is in the final six months of his contract, is on his way out, as is Paul Pogba, who has yet to make a decision on his future.

Donny van de Beek and Jesse Lingard, both midfielders who have struggled for playing time this season, have been added to the shortlist, with the latter linked with a move to West Ham United.

Both Anthony Martial and Diogo Dalot have been suggested, as both players have dropped down the pecking order in the squad this season and may be looking for regular game time elsewhere.
