Bruno Fernandes got his eighth assist of the season as his needle eye pass found Marcus Rashford in the box who slots home calmly.

The home side could have restored parity in the second half as Andre Ayew equalised in the 55th minutes only to be ruled off for offside by VAR.

With less than fifteen minutes to regulation time Anthony Martial bagged in his 17th Premier League goal of the seasonĀ  to put the game beyond the Eagles.

The Red Devils are still in fifth but tied on points with Leicester City in fourth with 62 points but the Foxes have a better goal difference.
