Max Aaron Gottfried is the second child of Gilbert Gottfried, the late legendary American voice-over actor and greatest stand-up comedian.

When Gilbert met Dara Kravitz, a music industry executive, at a Grammys party in the late 1990s, he wasn’t looking to settle down with a wife and children. After falling in love, they married in 2007 and had their first child, Lily Aster Gottfried, in 2007.
When the family appeared on Celebrity Wife Swap in 2013, they swapped homes with late comedian Alan Thicke and his wife, Tanya Callau, and Lily proudly stated, “My dad is a bird in Aladdin,” referring to Gilbert’s well-known role as Iago in the 1992 Disney animated film.
