As the Super Eagles return to play a first competitive game in 20 years in Lagos, veteran journalist Mumini Alao has canvassed reasons why the senior national team should consider making the state a permanent base for future international engagements.

Alao was responding to co-anchor Kayode Ogundare on this week’s episode of Sports Planet Podcast, the premium content sports podcast of Complete Sports Studio.
Alao said: “Lagos has every right to be the permanent home of the Super Eagles even though I understand why games have been taken to other states in the past.”
The Group Managing Director of Complete Communications Limited also spoke on the performance of team manager Gernot Rohr as well as his recollection of his best Super Eagles game in Lagos.
