Carney Chukwuemeka, the midfielder touted as the best 16-year old football player in all of England has signed for Aston Villa.
“Today, Monday, the 2004-born player, who has been labelled the best 16-year-old in the whole of England by Aston Villa chief executive Christian Purslow, took to social media to announce that he has signed a new contract.

“I am happy to have finally committed my future to @avfcofficial can’t wait for the new season🙏🏾,” Chukwuemeka posted on Instagram.
Though the teenager has not disclosed the length of contract, a FIFA rule states that players under the age of 18 may not sign a professional contract for a term longer than three years and any clause referring to a longer period shall not be recognized.
In the curtailed Academy season, Chukwuemeka represented Aston Villa in the U18 Premier League, U18 Premier League Cup, FA Youth Cup and Premier League 2, scoring 3 goals from 22 appearances while producing six assists.
He played for the Northampton Town Academy prior to his move to Aston Villa.”
