Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu has offered prayers to God on behalf of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi ahead of Leicester City’s FA Cup final match against Chelsea at the Wembley Stadium today.
John Ogu took to his Twitter page to pray for the duo who will be playing in their first FA Cup final.
His tweet reads;
“Dear Lord Jesus, I’m a fan of my brothers @Ndidi25 and @67Kelechi in their FA cup final today. Lord Jesus, may they win it for us all and their family 🙏🏻🙏🏻🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬. AMEN”
Iheanacho and Ndidi could join seven other Nigerian players who have won the FA Cup if Leicester City wins this evening.
The goalscoring sensation has been in great form this season with 18 goals in 36 matches.
Leicester City would also look to win the trophy for the first time having lost on four previous occasions – the most by any team in the history of the competition.
