
Victor Osimhen didn’t add to his goals tally on Galatasaray’s home win over Bodrumspor on Friday night.
The Super Eagles striker was on for over 80 mimutes as the defending champions secured a comfortable 2-0 at Rams Park.
Lucas Torreira put Galatasaray ahead with a header into top right corner from Gabriel Sara’s freekick as he peeled away from his marker.
Baris Yilmaz unleashed a ferocious shot from range to increase the lead but Bodrumspor goalkeeper Diogo Fesnard denied the Turkish midfielder with a fabulous save.
Victor Osimhen came close to getting his 22nd league goal of the season with a shot in the box but once again Diogo Fesnard thwarted his effort to keep the visitors in the game.
Diogo Fesnard, after a couple of brilliant saves, was eventually beaten. Davinson Sanchez jumped highest in the box to steer a header beyond the reach of the 26-year-old Portuguese goalkeeper.
Victor Osimhen’s time on the pictch came to an end after Galatasaray’s second goal as he was replaced by Turkish midfielder Berkan Kutlu.
Meanwhile, Osimhen still leads the goalscorers chart with 21 goals and he’s closely followed by Istanbul Basaksehir striker Krzysztof Piatek who has 19.
