Super Eagles striker Sadiq Umar helped Valencia avoid defeat at Rayo Vellecano on Saturday afternoon La Liga lunchtime kickoff.
Umar grabbed the equalizer for the visitors with 15 minutes to the end of regular time with a rebound from close range.
Spanish defender Cesar Terraga unfortunately put the ball into his net to give Rayo Vallecano the lead as he attempted to head the ball away.
Rayo Vellecano were coasting home to a win and clean sheet until the introduction of the Super Eagles striker in the 66th minute.
Sadiq Umar pounced on a rebound in the box to register his fourth La Liga goal for Valencia.
Valencia are currently 14th on the Spanish La Liga table with 38 points from 32 matches.
Umar, the Real Sociedad loaner has five goals in 12 league matches since his arrival at Valencia in January.
