Outrageous! Watch goalkeeper save five penalties to send his side to German Cup (DFB-Pokal) semifinal
Goalkeeper Daniel Batz is the headline from German football after he saved five penalties in one game.
Batz was the hero as fourth-division team Saarbrücken beat Fortuna Düsseldorf 7-6 in a penalty shootout on Tuesday, March 3rd to progress to the German Cup semi-finals.
The game ended 1-1 after regulation and extra-time with Batz making his first penalty stop during normal time. His other four stops will come in the shoot out to help his team become the first fourth division side to progress this far in the German Cup.
