Patrick Kidd, a Colchester Royal Grammar School graduate, is a sports journalist and blogger who focuses on cricket and rowing in particular. He is currently the diary editor, and was previously a sports writer, for The Times, where he has been working since 2001,and whose website hosts his Line and Length, “A very English cricket blog”.
Patrick Kidd is also a regular radio and television pundit and appears frequently in Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack and The Wisden Cricketer. Best of Enemies: Whingeing Poms vs. Arrogant Aussies was published in early 2009. Later that year, a second book, The Worst of Rugby, was released.
He also maintains a lighthearted personal blog, The Questing Vole, where he writes about politics, history, culture, and sports “A 1920s eccentric trapped in the body of a twenty-first-century journalist.
