Nigeria’s honourable minister for Sports: Mr Sunday Dare alongside President of Nigeria Football Federation: Amaju Pinnick and other stakeholders inspected the Asaba Stadium ahead of Super Eagles 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone on March 27.
The Asaba Stadium was inspected by the Sports Minister and according to him, he is impressed with the state of the pitch and the facilities available in the stadium.
The Sports Minister wrote this on his Twitter page:
Yesterday I was in Asaba to inspect facilities at the Stephen Keshi Stadium ahead of the March 27th African Cup of Nations Qualifier against Sierra Leone. Impressive pitch, PA system, score board, multi media and security. I met a stadium buzzing with sporting activities. pic.twitter.com/nWbhnKwiKv

The Super Eagles last played at the Asana Stadium in a 1-0 win over the Pharaohs of Egypt in a friend match before the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
