President Buhari has honoured Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume and other athletes who completed at the World Athletics Championship in Oregon as well as the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, United Kingdom with national awards.
Tobi Amusan, the current World Champion in the 110-meter hurdles received the Officer of the Order of Naija Award.
Ese Brume, who won silver in Long Jump at the World Athletics Championship also received the Officer of the Order of Naija (OON) Award.
Other athletes from both competitions which took place in the Summer as well as some para-athletes also received awards as well.
