The annual Eid El-Kabir celebrations otherwise known as Sallah has come and gone but there is an ongoing conversation about Sallah meat on Twitter and other social media platform at the moment.

A Twitter user named, Mr Alan just revealed that his mum used anointing oil to refry the Sallah meat given go her probably by a neighbour yesterday.

His mum’s action has caused quite a lot of reactions on social media as some claim what his mum did is rather uncalled for and unnecessary.

Others claim she shouldn’t have collected it if she is not interested in eating it.

As a Christian, there is absolutely nothing wrong in eating Sallah meat from your Muslim friends.
In the same vein, if your own 'faith' forbids such, you might as well reject it politely. It's very wasteful and stupid of anyone to collect meat and trash it.

I've never been a fan of sharing home cooked food during Christmas or any other festive period.
Just share bottled drinks so someone doesn't think you are trying to attack them spiritually.

On the sallah meat, We are the only Christians in our yard.. We have like 6 muslims as neighbours, and everytime they bring meat, we devour it as families likewise when we serve each of them during Christmas..

If your mum actually collects sallah meat and food then throws it away or feed it to the dogs,she is a waster.
