The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped three places in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola ranking from 32 to 35th.
The drop in the rankings is not far-fetched after Gernot Rohr’s men failed to impress or pick up maximum points both home and away in the recent Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Sierra-Leone.
The team threw a 4-goal lead away in the first leg while the second leg in Freetown ended in a stalemate.
On the flip side, Senegal moved one place on the ranking to become the 20th best team in the world and they are number one on the continent.
2004 AFCON champions, Tunisia remained 2nd in Africa and 26th in the world while defending champions, Algeria dropped one spot from 30th to 31st.
