Simon Moses Shines Despite Loss At Metz!

Simon Moses might not as popular as Kylian Mbappe in the French Ligue 1 but the Nigerian winger is definitely making a name for himself.

Moses is having a brilliant individual season for Nantes so far and he registered his third league goal of the season in Nantes 3-1 loss at Metz on Sunday.

Kevin Van Den Kerkhof gave the home side the lead early in the game via a well-measured cross in the box from Matthieu Udol.

However, the lead only lasted a few minutes as Simon Moses equalised to restore parity and also to score his third for the season.

Nicolas Pallois ball into the far-end of the box was met by the Nigerian who smacked the ball into the net to bring his team back into ghe net.

Unfortunately, the Metz got back into the match and took the lead before the end of first half as Simon Elisor cut inside from the left before burying a screamer into the bottom right corner of Alban Lafont’s goal to make it 2-1.

The match eventually ended in a 3-1 victory for the home side as tgey got back to wining after two drawn matches and a loss.

For Simon Moses, only Paris Saint Germain’s Kylian Mbappe has more gaol contribution (14) than the Super Eagles winger who has 7.
