Nigerian strikers continue to impress across Europe so far this season and Crotone’s Simy Nwankwo is the latest to hit double digits in terms of goals.
Simy Nwankwo was on target twice as Crotone demolished Ola Aina’s Torino 4-2 at the Stadio Ezio Scida on Sunday afternoon.
The 6ft striker scored in the 27th minute via a spot-kick and on the 54th minute as he helped his side end a 7-game losing streak in the Serie A.
Simy Nwankwo has now scored 10 goals in 26 games even though his side most likely destined for Serie B as they sit rock-bottom of the league with 28 points.
Simy Nwankwo’s side will travel to the Stadio Olimpico next to take on Lazio with the hope of going on a winning streak.
