There are also loads of exciting matches lined up during the festive season in what is looking like a three-horse title race between Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Enjoy NBA games

Basketball fans are in for a treat as fast-paced NBA games will be live on ESPN on DStv. Fans can watch Lebron James, Steph Curry, Chris Paul, and other NBA stars as the top teams take on each other during this festive season. The first of two live NBA Regular Season games this week arrives on the morning of Sunday, 26 December, with the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Brooklyn Nets at 2am. While the second live game of the week arrives on the evening of Sunday 26 December, as the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic do battle in an all Florida clash at 9:30pm. Spanish La Liga

There are a couple of matches coming up in the Spanish top-flight league matches to look forward to particularly during the New Year weekend. Some of the biggest football clubs in the league, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will take to the pitch to provide optimum football. Valencia will host Esponayal on Friday, 31 December at 4:15pm in the last league game of 2021, and Real Madrid will travel to Getafe on Sunday, 2 January at 2pm for the first La Liga match of 2022. Barcelona will start the New Year with a trip to Mallorca on Sunday, 2 January 2022 at 9pm while defending Champions; Atletico Madrid will welcome Rayo Vallecano to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Sunday, 2 January 2022 at 4:15pm. WWE

Fans of the WWE can gear up for another thrilling week of action, with live airings of the SmackDown and Raw shows. Saturday 25 December brings Episode 1166 of WWE SmackDown at 2am. Drew McIntyre and Jeff Hardy have teamed up in recent weeks to silence the ‘Happy Talk’ nonsense of Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss. Tuesday, 28 December will feature Episode 1492 of WWE Raw at 2am. After challenging for the Raw Women’s Championship, Liv Morgan says it is far from over between her and Becky Lynch.
