Troops of Operation Tura Takaibango continue their gallantry efforts in the decimation of Boko Haram and other terrorist elements in Borno State and other parts of the Northeast.
Based on credible intelligence, troops foiled a Boko Haram attack in Jiddari Polo area of Maiduguri, Borno State capital on Tuesday evening.
A resident who confirmed the incident via his Twitter page said the terrorists attempted to infiltrate the town at about 6:22 pm.
No less than six terrorists were killed as the gallant troops repelled the attack. A gun truck and some arms were also recovered as well.
