Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong made an impressive start to life at his new club Salernitana with a win as Salernitana recorded a surprise victory away at Lecce.
The Nigerian defender made the starting eleven and was on for the duration of the match as Salenitana beat Lecce 2-1 at the Stadio Via del Mere which had over 24,000 fans in attendance.
