Victor Moses To Sparehead Chelsea’s Historic Visit To Lagos

Former Super Eagles star and Chelsea legend Victor Moses will headline a special fan engagement event as part of the visit.

The trip is the fifth stop on Chelsea’s global fan programme, The Famous CFC, which is designed to bring the club closer to supporters worldwide during the 2025/26 season. Lagos is expected to deliver one of the biggest highlights of the tour.

Moses, a huge fan favourite during his time at Stamford Bridge, will meet and interact directly with Nigerian supporters, adding an extra special touch to this landmark occasion.

The Nigeria-born winger joined Chelsea from Wigan Athletic in 2012 and went on to make 128 appearances, scoring 18 goals and providing 10 assists.

He played a starring role in the 2016/17 Premier League title-winning season under Antonio Conte and also lifted the FA Cup and UEFA Europa League with the Blues.

Internationally, Moses was a key member of Nigeria’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations-winning team and represented the Super Eagles at the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups before retiring from international duty in 2018.

This historic visit is set to send Nigerian Chelsea fans into a frenzy, giving them a rare chance to connect with their club and one of its most beloved African stars.
