Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah has admitted that Egypt are under pressure to win the Africa Cupof Nations ahead of their first group match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday.
Salah while speaking to journalists on Monday said he has always wanted to win a title for Egypt and the AFCON title is what he is yet to win.
However, he believes they have a good team and a good coach that can propel them to victory.
“There is pressure to win the AFCON tournament. This is the title I am yet to win. I have always wanted to win something for Egypt.”
“The team always comes first and we can do something this time around. We have a good coach and a good team.”
We will do our best to make our people proud,” he told a press conference on Monday.
Egypt are yet to win the title since 2010 but they are considered as one of the favorites to win the title.
