Super Eagles winger Moses Simon scored a world class goal – his first of the season as he helped Nantes secure their first win of the season away at Clemont.
Simon was at the right place at the right time as he took advantage off a defensive error form the home home side before looping a long ball over the Clemont’s goalkeeper from over 25 yards.

The goal, which came early in the second half was enough to secure all all three points for Nantes as they put an end to their misrable start to the season with two losses and two drawn matches.
The terrific goal is Moses Simon first goal of the season and it should in contention for Ligue 1’s Goal of the Week Award and probably Goal of the Season Award as well.
The 28-year-old forward was on for all 90 minutes as he helped his side secure a the important victory. Although Clemont’s could have stole a point very late in the game but Muhammed Cham failed to convert his 91st minute penalty as he shot the ball over the bar.
The Canaries are currently 15th on the log with five points after five games so far.
