On this week’s episode of Sports Planet Podcast, we took a sober look at the life and times of former Nigerian international Yisa Sofoluwe who passed on on the 9th of February, 2021 with co-anchor Mumini Alao describing him as a gentleman on and off the pitch during a glorious career for clubs and country.

Sofoluwe, whose 8th Day Fidau prayers held at the Rowe Park Sports Centre, Yaba on Tuesday 17th February and attended by his former colleagues, friends and family, was also described in glowing terms by anchor Kayode Ogundare who shared personal recollections of his encounters with the ex-Abiola Babes strongman.
