Breaking: Kevin Durant and 3 others Brooklyn Nets players test positive for Coronavirus

Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets has been confirmed to have tested positive for Coronavirus/

Durant who has not played for the Brooklyn Nets this season due to injury he suffered when he was at the Golden State Warriors told the Athletic that he is fine. He said,  “Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We’re going to get through this.”

The Brooklyn Nets tested their players and released an official statement to reveal that four of their players tested positive but only one is showing symptoms.

They did not reveal the names of any of the players that tested positive, it was Durant’s choice to do so.

Here is the statement by the Brooklyn Nets, “The organization is currently notifying anyone who has had known contact with the players, including recent opponents, and is working closely with state and local health authorities on reporting.

“All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff.”

Durant now joins Christian Wood of the Detroit Pistons and Utah Jazz duo Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell as NBA players who have been confirmed to have tested positive for Coronavirus.
