It’s as though the COVID-19 pandemic is just kicking off in Nigeria with regards to the sporadic increase in the number of cases recorded in the last few days.
The body in charge of Disease Control in the country: NCDC said it recorded a staggering 745 new COVID-19 cases as at 11:45 pm on Thursday night.
This latest development brings the total number of cases in the country to more than 18,000 as at yesterday.

The National Center for Disease Control said that a loss of taste, smell with fever and headache could also be COVID-19. Therefore, people having such systems should call the state hotlines immediately via covid.ncdc.gov.ng/contact/
