Breaking! Tobi Amusan Qualifies For 100m Hurdles Semi-finals!

Nigerian athlete Oluwatobiloba Amusan has qualified for the semi-finals of the 100m women’s Hurdles at the ongoing Paris Olympics Games.

Tobi Amusan clocked a time of 12.49s raced pass her opponents easily to win her heat having started from lane 9.

Amusan comfortably beat USA’s Alaysha Johnson who was in 2nd in 12.61s and Janeek Brown 3rd in 12.84s.

The former world champion has now qualified for three consecutive semi-finals at the Olympics Games.

Puerto-Rican sprint hurdler, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn is the current Olympic champion with a timing of 12.26s.

Tobi Amusan is the fastest women in the 100m Hurdles. She clocked 12.12s at the World Athletics championship is 2022.

However, the fastest time in the history of the Olympics is currently held by American athlete Kendra Harrison who clocked a time of 12.20s in 2016.
