Chelsea keeps first clean sheet of the season after 4 nil demolition of Crystal Palace!

After a lackluster performance in the first half, Frank Lampard’s men turned the game around in the second as they thrashed Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace 4-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Ben Chilwell marked his Premier League debut for Chelsea with a goal as he opened the floodgates of goals in the second half as he smashed the ball into the net from a rebound.

Kurt Zouma put the game beyond the Eagles in the 66th minute with a brilliant header assisted by Ben Chilwell, before Jorginho bagged a brace via two penalties.

Ben Chilwell becomes the third Chelsea player to score and assist on his debut after Deco in August 2008 and Alvaro Morata in August 2017.

Jorginho who missed a penalty against Liverpool two weeks ago, has now scored 10 of his 11 Penalties for Chelsea in all competitions.

The Blues kept a clean sheet for the first time in the league this season having conceded 6 goals in their opening three matches.
